Brand Guidelines Summary

The Global Trust Bank brand is one of the institution's most valuable assets. Consistent application of our brand identity across all communications reinforces our reputation for stability, professionalism, and trust. This article provides a summary of the key brand guidelines. The full Brand Book (120 pages) is available for download on GTB Connect under Communications > Brand > Brand Book.

Brand Values

All communications and visual materials should reflect the Bank's four core brand values:

  1. Trust — We are reliable, transparent, and act with integrity.
  2. Excellence — We deliver the highest standards in everything we do.
  3. Innovation — We embrace change and invest in the future.
  4. Partnership — We build lasting relationships with our clients and communities.

Logo

The GTB logo consists of the "Global Trust Bank" wordmark paired with the GTB shield icon. The logo must always appear in one of the following approved formats:

  • Primary: Full colour logo on white or light backgrounds
  • Reversed: White logo on GTB Navy background
  • Mono: Single-colour version for printing limitations

The logo must not be stretched, rotated, recoloured, or placed on busy photographic backgrounds. A clear space equal to the height of the shield icon must be maintained around the logo at all times. Logo files in all formats (SVG, PNG, EPS) are available on the Brand Portal.

  • Body Text: Inter (sans-serif). Available in Regular, Medium, and Semi-Bold weights.
  • Fallback (email and web): Georgia (serif) for headings; Arial (sans-serif) for body text.

Font files are available for download from the Brand Portal. All corporate templates (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) have the correct fonts pre-loaded.

Tone of Voice

The GTB tone of voice is:

  • Authoritative — We speak with confidence and subject-matter expertise.
  • Approachable — We avoid unnecessary jargon and write in plain language.
  • Considered — We are measured and thoughtful; never sensationalist or informal.
  • Inclusive — We write for a global, diverse audience and use gender-neutral language.

Photography and Imagery

All photography used in Bank materials must be sourced from the approved GTB Image Library or commissioned through the Communications Team. Stock photography may be used only from the approved supplier (Getty Images corporate account). Images should reflect diversity and inclusion, showing a range of ages, ethnicities, and genders.

Brand Approval

All externally facing materials — including presentations, brochures, digital content, and event materials — must receive brand approval from the Communications Team before publication. Submit materials via the Brand Approval Form on GTB Connect. Turnaround time is three business days for standard requests and five business days for complex materials.
