Executive Leadership Team

The Group Executive Committee (GEC) of Global Trust Bank comprises the most senior leaders responsible for the strategic direction, operational performance, and governance of the Bank. The GEC meets fortnightly, typically on alternate Mondays, and is chaired by the Group Chief Executive Officer.

Key Responsibilities

Each GEC member holds accountability for their respective function or division and contributes to collective decision-making on the following matters:

  • Group strategy development and execution
  • Annual budget approval and capital allocation
  • Major investment and divestment decisions exceeding GBP 50 million
  • Regulatory engagement at group level
  • Enterprise-wide risk appetite and tolerance
  • Talent and succession planning for senior leadership

Board of Directors

The Board of Directors is chaired by Dame Elizabeth Hartley (Non-Executive Chair, appointed 2020). The Board comprises twelve members: four Executive Directors (CEO, CFO, COO, and CRO) and eight Non-Executive Directors. Requests for meetings with GEC members must be submitted through the Executive Office Coordinator, Ms. Laura Fitzpatrick, at least ten business days in advance. All meeting requests should include a brief agenda and the names of attendees.

Delegation of Authority

The GEC operates under a formal Delegation of Authority framework, which specifies approval limits for financial commitments, personnel decisions, and contractual obligations.
