  • Moorgate Station — 7-minute walk (Northern, Circle, Hammersmith & City, Metropolitan lines)

Cycle to Work Scheme

GTB participates in the UK Government's Cycle to Work scheme, allowing staff to purchase a bicycle and accessories up to GBP 2,000 through a salary sacrifice arrangement, saving on tax and National Insurance. Applications are processed through HR Self-Service under Benefits > Cycle to Work.

Cycle storage is available in Basement Level 1 (capacity: 120 bicycles). Showers and changing facilities are located on the Ground Floor adjacent to the cycle storage entrance.

Shuttle Services

GTB operates complimentary shuttle buses between the following locations during business hours (07:00–20:00, Monday to Friday):

  • London: GTB Tower to Canary Wharf (GTB disaster recovery site) — every 30 minutes
  • New York: 383 Madison Avenue to GTB Operations Centre, Jersey City — every 45 minutes
  • Frankfurt: Taunusanlage office to Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof — every 20 minutes (peak hours only)

Taxi and Private Hire

The Bank has a corporate account with Addison Lee for business-related taxi travel in London. Bookings must be made through the Addison Lee corporate portal using your GTB employee ID. Personal use is not permitted. For journeys outside London, pre-approval from your line manager is required, and costs must be charged to the appropriate cost centre.

International Offices

Parking and transport arrangements vary by location. Staff in New York, Frankfurt, Singapore, and Dubai should refer to their local Facilities team for location-specific guidance. Local Facilities contacts are listed in the Department Directory.

Sustainability

As part of the Bank's Net Zero commitment, staff are encouraged to use public transport, cycling, or the shuttle service wherever possible. The Bank offsets carbon emissions from all corporate travel, and departments are set annual travel reduction targets as part of the Group Sustainability Programme.
