Benefits are available from your start date unless otherwise stated. Enrolment

Most benefits are automatically enrolled from your start date. The following benefits require active enrolment through Workday:

  • Pension Scheme: Auto-enrolled at the default contribution rate; you may adjust your contribution level via Benefits > Pension in Workday.
  • Private Medical Insurance: Employee-only cover is automatic. To add family members, update your elections via Benefits > Health Insurance in Workday within 30 days of joining or during the annual benefits window.
  • Flexible Leave Purchase: Elections are made annually during the November benefits window.
  • Cycle to Work Scheme: Applications are accepted during two annual windows (April and October).

Annual Benefits Window

The annual benefits enrolment window opens on 1 November and closes on 30 November each year. During this period, you may:

  • Change your pension contribution rate.
  • Add or remove dependants from health and dental insurance.
  • Elect to buy or sell annual leave for the following year.
  • Opt into or out of the gym membership subsidy.

Changes made during the annual window take effect on 1 January of the following year.

Benefits Portal

All benefit information, policy documents, and enrolment forms are available through the Global Bank Benefits Portal, accessible via Workday under Benefits > Benefits Portal. The portal also includes a Total Reward Statement showing the full value of your compensation and benefits package.
