First Day Guide

Congratulations on joining Global Bank. Your first day is an important milestone, and we want to ensure it is as smooth and welcoming as possible. This guide provides all the information you need to prepare for and navigate your first day with confidence.

Before You Arrive

  • Confirmation email: You will receive a "Welcome to Global Bank" email from hr.services@globalbank.com approximately five business days before your start date. This email contains your employee ID, start time, and reporting location.
  • What to bring: A valid government-issued photo ID (passport or national identity card), your signed contract (if not already returned via DocuSign), and bank account details for payroll setup.
  • Dress code: Global Bank operates a business professional dress code Monday to Thursday. On Fridays, smart casual attire is acceptable. Please refer to the Dress Code Policy on the HR Portal for further details.

Arrival and Check-In

  1. Arrive at the main reception of your designated office at 08:45. Your start time is 09:00, but early arrival allows time for security registration.
  2. Present your photo ID to the reception team. They will issue your temporary building access badge.
  3. Your line manager or a designated buddy will meet you at reception and escort you to your floor.
